I didn’t hear back from any of my organizations other than the Ada Initiative who turned me down. Melissa had a second organization, The Art Box Kids, so I decided to take that. They don’t have hardly any information available anywhere except for a brief explanation of their cause on the home page. They donate school supplies to children’s hospitals and shelters for sick and disabled kids. They seem really small and specialized. I started looking at other similar organizations to help assess what they need. I think especially they need more visible information since I’m not really seeing any way to donate right now or to contact anyone except through the Matthews chamber of commerce.
